Xtool X100 Pad2 Adds Key to VW Polo 2015 MQB

VW polo 2015 MQB add key. Read immo data (was fast) and make dealer key - learn both keys in successfully with Xtool X100 Pad2.

I remember the customers key being a Q and my key (aftermarket) that worked is a BA.

Here's simple procedure:
VW - MQB Platform - READ IMMO DATA - (all immo data screen will pop up) - MAKE DEALER KEY (connect kc100 and read data from existing key, then insert blank key) - LEARN KEY (enter value 2) then turn ignition with key 1 (dash shows ‘1-2’) remove and turn ignition with key 2 (dash shows ‘2-2’) then remove key.
Process done. Press both remotes 3 or 4 times until it kicks in.

Xtool X100 PAD2 No Enough Storage Solution

Problem:

I’ve done reset but still coming up not enough storage on the xtool x100 pad2.

Anyone help fix problem?

Solution:

X100 pad2 has a total 9.1GB storage space and not allowed to extend storage via SD card.

1) Try to reset X100 pad2 and delete brands you don’t need (i.e China brand immo and diagnose).

2) Don’t ever update the diagnostic and immo side of things. Unless you’re into that stuff.

That way give it more storage.

Step 1: Open the app and find the Report

Step 2: Find the “File Management” menu

Step 3: Select the “Edit” , click on the unnecessary car brand

Step: Delete the software. Upgrade Immo software first, and then upgrade diagnostic software

Purpose: need eeprom file from dashboard to get CS and PIN for all keys lost

Procedure:
In Xtool Pad2, select EEPROM adapter->EEPROM Program

Make sure the eeprom adapter is connected and powered on, the status light is turned on

Select 24CXX Series->24C64

Reading eeprom in process

Read data completed.

auto save data in default folder

Check data.


OBD helper can pull CS and PIN tool.But not compatible with x100 pad2.
VAG OBD Helper is good for VVDI2 and no need to remove dashboard.
It makes life so much better. 5 minutes max if you got the key cut already.
