How to Add 2025 Chery Arrizo 8 Key with Xtool X100 PAD3?

Today we’re working on a 2025 Chery Arrizo 8. The car belongs to a taxi company. Our task is to add a spare key.

There are no risks associated with adding keys to these vehicles. It’s all done via the OBD2 port and takes 10 minutes.

Using xtool x100 pad3/pad2 device with KC501 programmer.
Read pin code ok.
Program key ok.

In this case, the owner needed the original key and a full rebuild (along with an emergency mechanical key for opening the door).

1. Open the car.
2. Read the PIN code.
3. Program the key.
4. Remove the lock.
5. Cut the key.
6. Reinstall the lock.

Xtool Adds Chery Tiggo 4 Pro 2023 Smart Key

Today we’re working on a 2023 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro. The task is to add a spare smart key.

There are no risks associated with adding keys to these vehicles. The only caveat is finding the location of the emergency antenna for the key (this varies greatly depending on the vehicle’s configuration and may be in one location on one vehicle and a different location on another, with a total of four locations).

Tool used: Xtool X100 PAD3 and KC501.

This is done via the OBD2 port and takes about 10 minutes.

1. Open the car.
2. Read the PIN code.
3. Program the key.
