Renault Duster 95040 All Keys Lost by Xtool X100 PAD2/PAD3

 How-to: Renault Duster 2010-2013 all keys lost transponder key programming by Xtool X100 Pad2 or X100 PAD3 (PAD Elite) via eeprom.

 

Step 1: Read Pin Code

Remove Renault Duster BCM module and disassemble the module

Locate chip ic 95040

Desolder the Eeprom chip into xtool adapter

Connect the adapter with xtool Eeprom adapter (25XXX)

Then connect Eeprom adapter with xtool x100 pad3
In x100 pad, select Renault ->Immobilizer->Duster->2010-2013->Read pin code->Read Eeprom (95040)

Eeprom adapter communication indicator flashes

Read data success, save data

Calculate pin code success

Take a screenshot of the Pin Code.

 

Step 2: Program Key

 

Solder the eeprom chip back to BCM board and install BCM module

Feed with power supply and ignition equipments
Select Renault ->immobilizer->Duster->2010-2013->Program key
Switch ignition off, remove the key from the ignition switch

xtool will ask to input pin code to access
Manual enter pin code in step 1 and confirm

Insert a key to be programmed and turn the ignition on
Wait for 10 seconds

Program key success, select not to program another key
Turn the ignition switch off
Wait for 10 seconds

Program key finished.

Test the new key.

Done.

Xtool X100 PAD2 Adds Audi Q5 5th IMMO Key

How-to: program Audi Q5 5th generation immobilizer key using Xtool X100 PAD2 via OBD. Both add key and all keys lost are available. Here's the guide on adding a spare Q5 key with pad2.


Device required:
Xtool X100 PAD2 pro with KC100 adapter in default
A working key
A new key to be programmed

Procedure:
In X100 pad2, select VW-> 4th/5th Immobilizer system

Turn ON the ignition with one working key
Select 5th Immobilizer System

Select Match the Key-> Read Immo key data

Enter the file name to be saved

Turn the ignition on
If lost all keys, open the car headlights, the brakes and then confirm,
Wait for data to be read

Read data completed
Press Show Immo data to check the security data

Now select Make Dealer Key

Plug the KC100 adapter into xtool x100 pad 2 tablet, press OK to continue
Select key type: Create A4/A5/Q5 Key
Put a key that ready to add to kc100's coil

Writing key

Make dealer key success
Take out the key from KC100 adapter
Select Match the key and input the number of keys to match: 2

Turn the ignition on
(All keys lost: Insert one dealer key into ignition switch to make it close to the induction coil)

Key in ignition will automatically get matched and stored in position 1 of 2

Now remove the key and insert second key to match that in position 2 of 2
Exit key learning
Match the key finished
Check the key for working.
Done.

Xtool X100 PAD2 Read Citroen Relay 2005 93C56 EEPROM

Citroen relay 2005 immo box data read successfully using the xtool x100 pad2.

Connect x100 pad2 with eeprom adapter, solder 93c56 eeprom chip with clip adapter

In x100 pad 2, select Other Service->EEPROM adapter->EEPROM Program->93CXX series->93C56->Read EEPROM data

Make sure the adapter is connected and powered on, the status light is turned on

Read immo box data success. Save data, i.e Fr

You are allowed to edit data by pressing Yes.

Write file back with some ff in first couple of lines. Wrote back and the read again to confirm written and was ok.

Most parts are same,both from XTOOL technology. Auto pro pad focus on American vehicles. x100 pad2 pro focus on more models (EU) and it specialized in VW 4th 5th vehicles key Immobilizer.

Xtool AutoProPad is made for US market and requires updates but updates are free for first year. No Chrysler pin codes tho (except for fobik).

Xtool X100 Pad2 Pro is for other countries market and comes with 2 options. Basic or full for VW AUDI stuff too. No tech support but does all Nissans to current with ease. And not very good for older stuff old fords old Honda’s etc. also does GM no prob including prox and remotes. It’s a good device for the price.  No Chrysler pin codes except for fobik.

Is the autopropad the same as other xtool devices?

This is different than other XTool machines you may see on sale in other countries. The AutoProPAD is the only XTool machine made for locksmiths in the US market and includes extra OBD2 and EEPROM software specific to United States vehicles. The cheaper devices such as the PS80, PS90, X100PAD, or X100 have some of the same hardware but mainly performs only the advanced vehicle diagnostic functions that an auto shop might use. For instance, if you purchase a PS80 (instead of an AutoProPAD), you will not be able to program Nissans with 20-digit BCM, Ford Fusion without NASTF, Toyota G, Toyota H, Toyota Smart Keys, Chrysler 200 systems, most Chrysler PIN code reads, VW/Audi programming, Honda Prox, and many others.

What is the Difference Between the AutoProPAD and the AutoProPAD LITE?

The AutoProPad is currently available in three versions; the “Basic Version,” the “Lite-Version” and the “Full-Version.”  All three tools use the same basic machine and software.  The differences between the versions are the accessories and optional components that are included.

The LITE is more for OBD2 programming only and does not have the extra adapters needed for things like EEPROM (reflashing) and transponder chip pre-coding. It is lighter and more compact (7″ screen instead of 8″ screen) than it’s bigger brother, but both are the same speed, the same memory, and program the same vehicles. Program Nissan All Keys Lost with Xtool X100 Pad2

The guy lost their keys for the second time...and had already programmed a new key so when they found their old key it didn't work anymore...the key is a n101 transponder is a philips 46.
I’ve done a couple of micra k12 and qashqai standard keys with xtool x100 pad2. Done a couple of each worked ok. Reads bcm number and gives old and new pin. 

 

Select Immobilizer->Nissan/Infiniti->Read BCM code and release steering lock (4 pin code)->Read BCM code

Xtool pad2 read both new and old pin.

2008 and under models require old pin code... 2009 and up would be new pin code ..

Select Program Keys->Select from type->4 pincode->Type2 (CAN)

If not sure which type to choose, try them one by one

Turn on ignition switch and press OK to continue

Select Program Keys

Pin code is required to complete key programming.

Manually enter 4-digit pin code calculated above

Confirm PIN code

You have to complete the following procedure
1) Switch ignition off and remove key
2) Insert the 1st key and switch on for 5sec, then switch ignition off and remove key
3) If you want to add more keys, repeat same procedure until complete
