How to Register and Update Xtool A80 H6 OBD2 Scanner?

Xtool A80 H6 Scanner Activation and Software Update Instruction

In view of the H6 Elite/A80/H6 Pro/H6D Pro/H6 Pro Master product activation and upgrade instruction, take H6 Elite as an example.
Step 1. Click the Settings icon on H6 Elite.
Step 2. Turn on Wi-Fi and connect to available internet.

Step 3. H6 will automatically prompt that you need to activate, please click NEXT.

Step 4. Please fill in the company name and mailbox, (no need to fill in Phone number cause overseas phone number cannot receive the auth code.), then click OK to complete the activation.

Software Upgrading

Step 1. Please open H6 APP and click update.

Step 2. You can choose Update all or any single software to upgrade.

Program Ford EcoSport Smart Key with Xtool X100 Pad2

How-to: program Ford Ecosport Smart key in lost and copy case using Xtool X100 Pad 2 tablet.

Turn on ignition switch to ON position

In X100 PAD2, select Immobilizer->Ford->China Ford->Smart Key System->EcoSport->Add a smart key

Reading security code

Switch the ignition OFF and wait for 10 seconds. Then switch the ignition ON, press OK

Read code success

Communicating

Press UNLOCK button of the smart key to add for 1 sec within 15 sec, press OK to continue

Program complete.

Now the smart key can start engine

Remote control works as well

Done.

Xtool X100 Pad2 changes odometer on Seat Leon 2015 MQB

New test report: one of our customer has successfully corrected odometer on a Seat Leon 2015 MQB system using Xtool X100 Pad2 full version.

Note: X100 Pad2 only full version can change mileage for part of VAG MQB.  Xtool EZ500/PS80 does same job. 

Connect X100 pad with vehicle via OBD

Select Odometer Adjustment function->Seat->Leon->MQB (2014.06-)

Only continental and VDO are supported, and more dashboard types are under development

Turn on ignition switch but don't start engine

X100 Pad2 read current mileage which is the same as displayed on dashboard

Manually enter mileage you desired and confirm

 Communicating and writing data in progress

Change mileage succeed

Check new mileage on dashboard 

Done.

Xtool X100 or Lonsdor to Program Mitsubishi Space Star 2014 Remote

Today I tried to program a remote key on a  Mitsubishi Space Star year 2014 using Lonsdor K518ISE and Xtool X100 Pad2 key programmer. See what’s worked and failed.

Using the Keydiy universal remote key

Try with Lonsdor K518

Make a connection

Select Immo function->Mitsubishi->Select from type->Remote

There are only 4 type to choose from, try them one by one

Try Type1->Program Remote, K518 prompts to erase all remotes

Then fail to communicate

Try Type 2 to Type 4, all failed

Then we try the Xtool X100 Pad2

Select Immobilizer function->Mitsubishi->Remote

There are 6 types we can choose from

Select Type 6->Program remote

This function will erase all remotes

Press each remote LOCK or UNLOCK button 3 times

1st remote program ok

2nd remote programming success

Test the remote control. Working!!

How to Activate and Update Xtool PS90 Diagnostic Scanner

Xtool PS90 diagnostic scan tool provides incredible dealer level diagnostics at an affordable price for many small to large workshops. It can scan all systems, modules and even program new keys. You need to register and activate it before using the tablet.

Part 1: Xtool PS90 Activation 

1. Connect PS90 with network;
2. Power on PS90 pad, fill in all the required information, then click Activate button;

3. The activation code is on the front page of User Manual in your package;

Input activation code, product serial number (each device will have a serial number and activation
code), nickname (workshop’s name or user’s nickname), login account (can be your email address or
cell phone number) and password, the system will then save it. Activation is a one time process. The
diagnostic application will start after activation.

Notice: 

1. Need to use the email address you registered to log in, so please take down your email address and password in case you forget about it, or we are not responsible for this.
2. For nickname you can use any name you want.
3. For login account, please use your valid email address or phone number. Better will not forget it in the future.
4. For password, you can setup any number you like. The system will save it after done. Activation is a one time process. The diagnostic application will start after activation. After you finish activation, when new software release in future, you can directly update your tool via WIFI.

Part 2: Xtool PS90 Update 

Click UPDATE after PS90 is connected to the internet, you can then download the latest diagnostic software directly to the PS90.

PS90 updates directly via the Internet using WiFi or wired connection. To access the update
application open the PS90 application and click UPDATE , shown below:
